Dr. James Ren, DO is a fellowship-trained Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon. Originally from New York City, he completed his medical school education in Fort Lauderdale, FL, receiving his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. He returned to Queens, NY to complete his residency in General Surgery at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. Upon graduation, Dr. Ren went on to complete his fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Deborah Heart and Lung Center.
Dr. Ren is well trained in the spectrum of diagnosis and management of vascular disorders. His interests include both open and endovascular surgery for limb salvage, venous disease including varicose and spider veins, aortic aneurysmal disease, and carotid artery disease for stroke prevention.
Dr. Ren is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, American College of Surgeons, and American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and American Osteopathic Association.
Outside of work Dr. Ren enjoys traveling, exercise, and spending time with family. He is looking forward to providing excellent care to those in the North Atlanta community.
